Departman Architecture is an Istanbul-based design studio founded in 2016, working across interior architecture and furniture design. The studio's practice is grounded in the reinterpretation of tradition — drawing references from neoclassical, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque periods not to reproduce historical styles, but to reassemble familiar elements into new modes of expression. Classicism serves as the studio's core design language: an adaptable framework capable of translating into contemporary scenarios with coherence and spatial depth. Each project is treated as a contextually specific and internally resolved work.
