Dr. Xian Yan is an outstanding design educator and practitioner at Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES). She earned her Doctor of Design degree and is a dual-qualified teacher specializing in user experience design, brand visual design and digital media design. She currently serves as Deputy Director of New Media Design at the School of Design, SUES, and is a core member of the Digital Media Content Planning Team. She teaches Visual Design and has supervised students to win more than 30 awards in international and national professional competitions. She has also received the Outstanding Contribution Award from Shanghai Packaging Design Association. Dr. Xian Yan is a Council Member of the Asian Design Confederation (AsianACS). She leads a volunteer lecture group to carry out aesthetic education and innovation activities with VR technology, promoting the integration of traditional culture and digital design education.
