Light Extension Residential House
Light Extension is a residential interior design for a 110 square meter home in Taiwan. The layout removes two small closed rooms to make the shared areas visually broader. A semi-open study and a guest room replace the traditional enclosed dressing room and the narrow study. Ambient light washes the television wall to reveal its natural texture, and the same wall provides full storage. A layered ceiling and a mirrored beam surface soften the low girder above the dining area. Materials include marble, wooden flooring, fair-faced concrete, mirror and iron parts.
