Pearl River Wenjiang Block B Urban Architecture
Pearl River Wenjiang Block B Urban Architecture
Pearl River Wenjiang Block B is an urban master plan for a mixed-use business district in Chengdu, China. The plan includes 14 high-rise office towers, 10 commercial pedestrian streets and street-front podiums of one to two floors. Diverse transport systems are combined to form a three-dimensional city. Open blocks, waterfront parks and art courtyards support a healthy and livable daily life. The high-rise facades use a window-wall system with aluminum frames and elevated planting, which provides shading without strong light reflection. The building area is 644,765 square meters.
